Dr Herb Pang obtained his PhD in Biostatistics from Yale University in 2008 and BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford in 2002. His bioinformatics research expertise includes biomarker discovery in clinical studies, cancer –omics analytics (microarray expression, methylation, microRNA, single nucleotide polymorphism), classification and survival prediction methods, computational biology, epigenetics, exome sequencing, genome wide association studies, integrative –omics analysis, machine learning, network modelling, metagenome sequencing, pathway analysis, RNA-seq, systems biology, translational science, and whole genome sequencing.
